Hey, I'm Femi Akinbi!

A Lifetime of Bridging Worlds for Africa’s Rise

Femi Akinbi is a Nigerian-born international trade strategist, business advisor, and unapologetic Africanist dedicated to advancing Africa's collective voice on the global stage. With over 30 years of experience, he has facilitated high-level trade delegations, policy dialogues, and strategic private sector partnerships across Africa and the diaspora.

Based in Washington DC, Femi is the President of Ekababa LLC and the Founder of One Flag One Africa (OFOA). He is also the Director, Private Sector Business Development/African Diaspora at Manchester Trade Limited, Inc., where he advises on trade policy, regional integration, and development initiatives throughout the continent. Femi sits on the board of several institutions across the digital innovation, arts and culture, and nonprofit sectors. His work spans collaborations with various African governments, global think tanks, and major international development institutions.

Warm, visionary, and deeply connected, Femi is known for his ability to open doors, create strategic relationships, and advocate for Africa’s rightful place in the global economy. Femi draws on his decades of experience to engage in conversations, workshops, and dialogues that spotlight the complexities and opportunities shaping Africa today. His work is driven by a belief that Africa’s healing—economically, psychologically, and politically—begins with bold leadership, clear vision, and unified action.
